• Empty the pockets
• Close zippers, Velcro, and snaps
• Loosen elastic cords
• Treat stubborn stains (mud, grease, etc.) with a specific stain remover before washing
• Turn the garment inside out
• Wash with similar colors
• Wash the first time with a color-fast wash to prevent color bleeding
• Do not use fabric softener
• Use a low spin cycle to minimize pilling
