Features
At home both on- and off-piste, the Crux 87 Pro enhances the ski touring experience. It’s as easy to handle and lightweight on the uphill as it is stable and reliable on the downhill. The 87mm waist performs in variety of snow conditions, while the sidewall construction adds edge grip. The Crux 87 Pro’s construction focuses on maintaining torsional rigidity and high-end performance while omiting topsheet material and using a full triaxial carbon jacket, plus Graphene and Karuba wood in the core.
A strong yet lightweight carbon fabric woven in three directions, wrapped around the entire ski. With the top sheet removed, the exposed carbon wrap delivers better power transfer, ultralight weight, and perfect flex for smooth control on the slopes.
Combining a strong World Cup sandwich core with a cap that wraps over the sidewalls, this durable design offers great all-mountain performance. The rounded top edge makes it perfect for skiing anywhere on the mountain.
Graphene
The thinnest and lightest material known, used strategically in the ski to make it incredibly strong and lightweight—perfectly tuned to your riding style.
Uses less top sheet material for a lighter, more sustainable ski without compromising performance.
Structured UHM C Base
Made from the same top-quality material used in HEAD’s race skis, this durable base features a special texture for excellent performance in all snow conditions.
A milled-out notch at the ski tail designed for easy and secure attachment of climbing skins.
A special coating that stops snow and ice from sticking to your skis. It makes uphill climbs easier by preventing heavy snow buildup and helps keep your skis performing smoothly on the way down.
Go further. Go efficiently.
The result of decades of ski-making experience combined with bold new engineering. Tested in the extremes using worldwide professional backcountry explorers.
“A freaking light ski”
That’s how one reviewer rated CRUX Pro. Every component and layer of the multi-award winning ski has been fine-tuned to minimise weight and maintain performance.
